Boy In the Stripped Pyjamas

Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas was written by John Boyne based on two boys " Bruno and Shmuel" and their friendship. Bruno was really sad when he heard his parent planning about moving to a place where there is boring and sad. Near his new home is the concentration camps where he found Shmuel who follow Jews. Although they live in two different part of the world where both people from other religion hating each other, but still they was best friend.

For me I think it is not the right thing to bringing such danger on one's relatives and friends by challenging the forces of law and order. "I've never spoken to him," said Bruno immediately. "I've never seen him before in my life. I don't know him."-172. This happen while Shmuel was taken to Bruno house to clean some glasses. But then Bruno found out that his friend is at his house working. Bruno came in and gave food to Shmuel. Unlucky Kotler saw those boy talking together and he cut the conversation. I think what Bruno did is wrong because he is causing his friend in to trouble by lying. I think the right thing that Bruno can do is to tell the truth. Because if he tell the truth, then everything will be a bit easier and Shmuel don't get to punished that badly. Also i think that to your friend just to save you from punishment, then your friend will get even worse punishment and they will hate you.

Profile MM

To begin with, today Mr Whiting came to our humanity class to test our domiknow again because we might be different from last year. In 6th I did with Ms Nadarjai and mine result was II. But this year things change. Instead of II now I am MM. That mean that now when I am stress or learning new thing, I have no access to the other hemisphere that is Logic.

Being in the profile MM, Is better for me to sit in front unless I don't annoy other. For me I am sure that I am an left ear learner. Every time when my cousin talking about something, I would let my left ear closer to them so I can hear it properly. Or also in the class we did like if you want to know what your classmate next door is talking about you and you can't go in or see them so what should you do? So I ran up and I heard it with my left year. I think it is important for me to know what ear I am good at so that I can hear clearer every time my teacher speak. Being an MM, I must able to see, hear, move and verbalize the context before I learning details. My left eye look from left to right, so I is hard for me if I read English or other language that write from left to right. Or sometime, I might change the orders of the letter or numbers.

When I'm relaxed, my movement is being spontaneous or fluid. But when I'm stress, may move forward with caution, or I could feel clumsy and stuck. I have difficult following instruction that go by step by step. I started by imagining the end result.

Something I want my teacher to know about me is I want everything to go by step, I don't want to describe thing really much just keep it simple and I want to show big picture.

Closing Library Is Never Agree

Have you ever think what happen if there is no library? Have you ever notice that if there is no library, there will be no internet and borrowing books for free? Do you ever notice that people and student will have less knowledge than the people that read many books? Do you think is time to stop closing library for our next generation to have a chance to read books and have the knowledge as us?

Although I’m not a good reader (I don’t read as much as the others do), but I’m still disagree with closing library. Library is a place where you read books and do research. In the library, there are computer for you to do research and book for you to find knowledge. If you don’t have enough time to read in the library, you could also made a library card for you to borrow books in limit time.

But sadly Across the UK more than 100 libraries now face being shut. What will happen to our future if closing library is spreading all over the world? Will poor children ever have a chance to touch a book or to do some research? No, because their parent can’t afford to by a computer or books for them to have knowledge. That why library is important because it have free Internets for you to do research and free book for you to read and borrow. I think Government has a really big duty to take care to their citizens and as such should they provide free access to books in the form of libraries, because if the government is provide free access to books, then people could learn language or improve their knowledge better. Poor people will get more chance to get more book to read.

My Name

Dinh Phuong Linh is my name. Like light in the sea of darkness. I prefer people calling me Linh. Because people usually pronounce it wrong like Phuon or Fong and that is like laugh in the sea of sadness. My name has separate meaning. “Phuong” means straight forward and “Linh” means sparkle like a star in the sky.

I like my name very much, when my parents was planning my name, they told each other that they must find a name combining their names. So they choose Phuong borrowed by my mum middle name and Linh was slightly modified from my dad last name. So every time they call me they will remember each other.

Colour is like the rainbow of favor. My favorite colours represent by the fist letter of my names D,P and L. D stands for dark yellow like the sun shine the special dark yellow down to Earth. L is for light blue when it comes to the afternoon. And at last but not least is purple like color in the sunset or good night.

The Card.

Negarher is the only friend I had in my Condo. So before last year,

in summer, her family tricked me by telling me that they were going back to their country this summer. But actually, they traveled to Paris for 5 weeks. One day Negarher wrote a letter to me, the postcard that you see in the picture. And said that she would be coming back this August to study. I was so happy that she come back and I told my mum to buy a present for her. Now she is in a different country, Australia. But I still remember her and still stay in touch with her through Facebook everyday.

The Diary

My parents were plan about the present for my birthday but they couldn’t think of anything. Then an ideas suddenly popped up in my father brain. He told my mum that since I lost my ipod then they can bought a new ipod and a diary for me. First my mum was kind of disagreed but then there was no ideas so she excepted that. After they came back from shopping, they brought me back a diary first and told me that they will buy for me an ipod later when we get to Malaysia. And feel so happy that I have two present on my 12 birthday.

The Computer

Although my computer is not

that beautiful. But it is very important for me. I remember that one day when I was in Fairview, we had homework that we needed computer. But I don’t have one computer, because my family just overseas so I have to do it by hand. The next day, I planned with my parents to buy one computer so I don’t have to do my homework by hand and we can check mail easily. So my parents think a moment and they said OK. So the day after, My father went back with a laptop (Dell) he open it and explore the computer. After a while he started to teach me and at last, I can work in the computer instead. Although now the computer is a bit old but I’m still happy to have it.

The Quote That I Chose

The quote that I chose is Dreaming Ties all Mankind Together from the sentence All human beings are also dream beings. Dreaming ties all mankind together by Jack Kerouac.The reason I chose this quote because I think everyone have dreams. evil dreams sweat dreams or even sad dreams. Once you sleep your dreams suddenly appear. I believe that if dreaming ties everyone together, then everyone will be friendly to each other and be peace. All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

My Spring Break Adventures

This spring break gave me allot of memory. I had lots of fun with my family and friends.

At first we went to Cameron Highland ( the land of strawberries). The trip took about two days and one night. Our hotel was Titiwangsa, we lived in the first floor room 101. Then we went to the rose park, catus point, and strawberries farm. At there the air was not as polluted as in the cities, the weather was cool and there is allots of vegetable. After that we went to an night market and bought a strange fruit named Apple Jampu. But latter we found out that it was Jampu and they color the outside part with chemical colour ( red and green). then we ate dinner at 6:00pm. And slept at ten. On the next day we went to the market to buy some vegetable. Then we went back at 3:00pm and arrived at KL at 5:00pm.

Then about four days after, we went with our friends to an restaurant named Mei Cang Fat ( near ISKL). First I thought it was a Vietnamese restaurant, but when I got there, I found out that it was Chinese. We ate oysters, crabs, seashell, fried rice, vegetable and I, my mum and my sister drank apple juices. And we went back at 2:00 pm.

At last for this holiday we went Gengting Highland with our friends. We arrive there at 10:00am and play adventure games (outdoor). Then my dad and mum went to the casino so I play indoor games with my friends and my sister. After playing we got a present. And we got back at KL at 5:pm.

Wow that was the most wonderful week I got. I wish if next there is a break next time then I can go to another intrusting place
